This upcoming season marks Coach Z's remarkable 15th year coaching club volleyball, and an impressive 20 years overall dedicated to shaping the sport. Hailing from the vibrant Bay Area, Z's journey with volleyball began in high school and continued through club play. Her passion and talent led her to secure scholarships at Fresno Pacific University and Newman University, where she garnered All-League and All-American honors.

Post-college, Z embarked on a professional volleyball career in Poland and Slovenia before transitioning back to the US, where she found fulfillment as a Special Education teacher. Over the past two seasons, she's brought her expertise to the Arroyo Grande High School girls' volleyball program and contributed her coaching prowess to 805 Elite Volleyball Club.

Beyond the court, Z shares her life with fellow F.A.V coach Ryan Zimmerman, and together they're raising two wonderful children. Z's commitment to education and personal growth shines through her recent achievement of a Masters of Arts in Autism Spectrum Disorder, while she continues to pursue her passion by working towards a PhD in Online Design and Technology.
