Manny Carter

Manny Carter attended San Luis Obispo High school where he played 4 years of volleyball and graduated in 2004.

Carter began his coaching career in 2005 where he was the JV assistant coach at SLOHS. In 2006, he was moved into the JV Head Coach position. Eventually Manny became the Varsity Girl's Volleyball Head Coach at SLOHS from 2008-2014 where he coached current Flight Academy Volleyball coach Kennedy Meaney. He also became the SLOHS Boys Head Coach from 2010-2015 where he coached current Flight Academy Volleyball coach Chip Blaney, winning league championship in 2010 and 2011 with both the girl's and boy’s programs.

Manny would also become Head Coach for the Cal Poly Women’s Club Volleyball program from 2010-2014, winning the NCVF National Championship in 2010, 2011, and runner up in 2012. Carter also took over the Cal Poly Men’s Club Volleyball Team in 2016, winning a National Championship in 2019, and runner up in 2018. Ranked #1 in the National during the 2020 campaign, the season was unfortunately cut short due COVID-19 however, the team was well on its way to another National Championship Title run.
